7 Things To Do If You're Feeling Depressed.......

Nobody said life would be easy girl....In fact, it can get incredibly hard...like to the point where you get pretty discouraged and just want to give up on everything...Trust me, I know the feeling...Anyway, here's some things you can do to stay calm, grounded, and focused...

  1. Take A Mental Health DayπŸ™‡πŸ½‍♀️- That's right, take an off day from school or work to focus on yourself. On this particular day, you can turn your phone off, lay in bed  and eat pizza and ice cream, pig out, turn your phone off, put it on DND, and just chill.πŸ™…πŸ½πŸ“±
  2. Take A Moment to BREATHE😚- So what if you can't take the day off. Often times when we feel shitty, we experience an anxiety attack, like everything is going wrong at one time, and there no way it can be stopped. Listen, breathe in, breathe out. Repeat it. Take a step back, play a game on your phone, drink some water, and then go back to work.πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
  3. Be ChildishπŸ‘§πŸ½- After a long day of being an adult, you gotta admit it will feel good to just be a kid again. Ok, so don't call your ex and tell him that his refrigerator is running. However, you can take some time out to watch some of your favorite kid movies. I personally love the movies Inside Out, Up, Despicable Me and Lion King. If you don't feel like watching a movie, feel free to get lost in a coloring book. They do sell ADULT coloring books everywhere now including Walmart, Target, and numerous dollar stores. πŸ–πŸŽ¨
  4. Listen to MusicπŸ”Š- I promise there's a song for everything you're feeling. Whether you're depressed because something went wrong such as a relationship, a job, or a you're just not feeling your best, turn up your headphones and embrace it. Get them feelings off and let that hurt go ma lol.  πŸŽ§ 🎢
  5. WriteπŸ“•- Nothing is better than getting your feelings out in the open in a journal or just period. Write it out, everything you're feeling. Then burn it. You read it right, burn that shit and release those feelings. I promise you will feel so much better. ✏️ πŸ“
  6. Bathe!!!! 🚿 - Whether your in the shower or taking a bath, make the process relaxing as possible. Light some candles, get a bath bomb or your favorite shower scrub, play some Sade', Erykah Badu, or Anita Baker and just let your mind wonder. πŸ›€
  7. Talk to Your FriendsπŸ‘- It's ok to talk to your friends about how your feeling, go out for drinks with them, go to the movies, out to eat, or bowling. Laugh and enjoy yourself. Being around people you enjoy will ease your mind.πŸ‘«
Remember, your mental health is important and it does matter. If these tips are not working for you, always be brave enough to reach out to some caring professionals to help with whatever you're feeling:

How Speaking Things Into Existence Really Works...

Speak Good Things And Good Things Will Come, Speak Bad things and Bad Things Will Happen...🀷🏾‍♀️ "The tongue has the power of life and death"-Proverbs 18:21 Ok, so I'm just gonna get straight to the point. If you think negative, then things will become negative.🀦🏽‍♂️A lot of times we don't notice how much our thought process can hinder our success. For instance, have you ever studied for a test, for days, and still failed? It's probably because you didn't believe in yourself. Most of the time, we let our self doubt fuck up everything we have planned. Coming up, my mom would always ask me how I felt about taking a test, finishing  any project, or when I finished anything major and had to be graded on it. If I felt like I did good, of course, I would've said "Great." However, if I felt I completely fucked shit up I would've said "ok." Don't get me wrong, preparing does help. However, I can fully say that if you don't...
